Update
As part of our ongoing region migration from us-central2 to us-central7, there will be a degraded performance on hosted grafana instances for the next ~15m. Instances in the region may experience a brief downtime during the maintenance window. Additionally, all sevices that depend on the instances API may be affected.

Update
We identified a configuration issue during the Tempo migration in the us-central2 region that created a gap in some metrics derived from ingested traces between 8:02 AM and 2:16 PM UTC. A fix has been rolled out, and our team is currently reviewing the impact.

Update
During the Mimir migration process in the us-central2 region, a misconfiguration caused some Mimir-managed alert notifications to fail to deliver between 16:26 UTC and 20:16 UTC today.
The root cause has been identified and corrected, and alert notifications are now being delivered as expected.
We apologize for any disruption this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.

In progress
Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.

Scheduled
The Grafana Cloud cluster in the Azure US Central region (us-central2) is being rebuilt due to its age and lack of support for newer Azure technologies (e.g., RBAC and native network policies). To address this, all workloads will be migrated from the legacy cluster (us-central2) to the new one (prod-us-central-7). Once complete, the legacy cluster will be decommissioned.
(Note: This is a cluster migration within the Azure US Central region, not a region migration—both clusters remain in Azure US Central.)
We do not expect SLA breaches and for most customer this migration will be seamless. There may in some instances be a couple of minutes where a dashboard is unusable or you cannot change a config but this should resolve itself almost immediately. Should you have any issues or concerns please reach out to the Grafana Support team.

This scheduled maintenance affects: Grafana Cloud: Hosted Grafana (Azure US Central - us-central2) and Grafana Cloud: Synthetic Monitoring (Azure US Central - us-central2: API, Azure US Central - us-central2: Public Probes).
